The Reveal of the Brand New Kia EV9

Kia has revealed the interior and exterior design images of the brand new Kia EV9! This is the first three-row electric flagship SUV from Kia, representing Kia’s step towards a more sustainable mobility solutions provider.

Exterior design
The exterior creation was inspired by Kia’s “Opposites United” design philosophy. The designers at Kia want to make their vehicles unmatched! Using elements from both the natural and material worlds was a main part in the making of the exterior for the EV9.

  • Digital pattern lighting grille
  • Striking vertical headlamps 
  • Digital tiger face (visionary and futuristic look and feel)
  • Star map LED daytime running lights
  • Dynamic triangular fender structure
  • Highly pronounced geometric wheel arches 
  • Flush door handles 
  • Tapered back roofline

Interior design
Kia’s “Technology for Life” pillar under the “Opposites United” philosophy helped designers create the interior of the EV9. The main goal for designers was to prioritize space.

  • Three rows of seats offered in six or seven seat formats
  • First and second-row reclining seats
  • Second-row seats can be swiveled 180 degrees 
  • Third-row seats with cup holders and charging points for mobile devices
  • Open floating panoramic dashboard extends from steering wheel to center of vehicle
  • Two 12.3-inch touch screens integrated with one 5-inch segment
  • Center console storage
  • Extended display high-definition audio visual, navigation, and telematics screen
  • HVAC touch buttons
