The 2020 Kia Telluride and the 2021 Kia K5 have been awarded Automotive Excellence Awards! The Telluride was named Family Car of the Year and the K5 was named Sedan of the Year. Popular Mechanics selected the winners based on their affordability, practicality, and capability.

“Throughout the year, we got behind the wheels of these crossovers, SUVs, sedans, vans, trucks, wagons, and sports cars, driving them on highways, city streets, and rutted forest roads (where it made sense). We also cross-referenced our experiences in them with data from other expert sources like Car & Driver, and we referred to reliability scores from J.D. Power, Edmunds, and Consumer Reports where they were available.”

2020 Kia Telluride: Family Car of the Year

The 2020 Telluride was named Family Car of the Year thanks to its blend of comfort, capability, and accessibility. The Telluride also boasts its ample cargo capacity even with the third-row seating up. There are also USB ports in the backs of the driver and passenger seats, perfect for family road trips. 2021 Kia K5: Sedan of the Year

The 2021 K5 was named Sedan of the Year for its affordability, high-quality safety features, and its innovation. The GT-Line K5 comes in under $30,000 and features Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go. The feature makes traveling in traffic much more tolerable. A wireless charging station can also be found in the K5 along with automatic braking, lane keep assist, and automatic high-beams.
