The Opposites United exhibition at Milan Design Week will present Kia’s bold design approach. This will showcase how the company will create new sustainable mobility solutions through harmonizing the apparent opposing concepts of human mobility requirements and environmental impact. And allows the company to focus the priorities while further implementing the design philosophy in their future products. The exhibition is nominated for the Fuorisalone Award. This award recognizes the most memorable installations during the Milan EDesign Week.

Kia’s new flagship model (the EV9) has incorporated the design philosophy. It utilizes both innovative sustainable materials as well as the processes to deliver the look and feel but reducing the model’s impact environmentally. The EV9 is also the first model to embrace the three-step Design Sustainability Strategy!

Kia aims to fulfil their commitment to increasing the proportion of recycled plastics it uses to 20 per cent by 2030 and achieving full carbon neutrality throughout the value chain by 2045.
