1st Drive: 2020 Kia Telluride SX Review
In this modified episode of 1st Drive, Angelique finally gets an up-close look at the all-new 2020 Kia Telluride SX V6 AWD edition. This Telluride has already found its home so unfortunately we weren’t able to take it for our usual test drive, but it’s ok because there a ton of cool features to cover!
This SX V6 model has a V6 engine that produces 291 HP and 262 lb-ft of torque, making it powerful enough to haul you up hills, back roads and more. The Telluride is the largest Kia ever produced. It is Kia’s first third-row vehicle, which can haul 7 to 8 passengers. The front of the Telluride is big and aggressive. The elongated nameplate and stacked headlights give it a really powerful look. The SX model comes with blacked out 20″ wheels which give the all-wheel-drive Telluride 7.9 inches of ground clearance. Keyless entry makes entering the vehicle a breeze. As long as the key fob is on you, you simply press the button on the door and the vehicle will unlock. This also unlocks the vehicle.
This SX V6 model is equipped with a 10.25″ touchscreen display and a 10-speaker Harmon/Kardon system. The touchscreen allows you to customize your home screens, widgets and control all media. This model also has a heated steering wheel and heated/ventilated seats. Both the front and second rows have settings for the heated and ventilated seats. It is also equipped with a wireless charging pad to charge smartphones without the hassle of charging cords. If you do need to charge with cords or plug in something else, the SX has seven USB ports throughout, two 12V plugs and one 115V outlet.
